Spintronics techniques play an important role in the modern materials of chemistry. The bifunctional molecular compound β''-(BEDO-TTF)3[Co(pdms)2]∙(MeCN)(H2O)2 shows single-molecule magnetic behavior and metallic conductivity in the same temperature range (12–26 K), which is very promising for molecular-based spintronics.
