HNb3O8 Nanosheet–Graphene Oxide Composite Membranes for Molecular Separation

A 2D laminar membrane with an interfacial dense heterolayer comprising HNb3O8 nanosheets and graphene oxide is formed by a successive vacuum filtration process. This layered membrane has stable 2D nanochannels at the graphene oxide/HNb3O8 interface and showed excellent rejection of ions. The dense heterolayer constructed between the dissimilar nanosheets plays an important role in effective nanofiltration.
