Poly(vinyl diglycolic acid ester)-Grafted Polyethylene/Polypropylene Fiber Adsorbent for Selective Recovery of Samarium

A poly(vinyl diglycolic acid ester)-grafted polyethylene fabric was prepared by radiation-induced graft polymerization and chemical modification. This graft-type adsorbent is good at adsorbing rare earth metals and can be very useful for the adsorption-separation of the targeted samarium.
