Mapping of Grain Orientation In Situ of 2D Perovskite Thin Films with Low-Frequency Polarized Raman Microspectroscopy

Polarized Raman imaging with ultralow-frequency lattice phonon Raman modes is used to map grain orientations of 2D perovskite (C4H9NH3)2PbI4 thin films. This purely optical technique could complement electron microscope-based techniques, such as electron backscatter diffraction, to allow for in situ grain orientation mapping.
